We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Azuna Pillows. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 25/11/2025; with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact our privacy contact person; you will find the contact details at the end of our privacy policy.
Webshop software
Our webshop was developed using Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged, based on the agreement we have with them, to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data.
Email and newsletters
Our website uses Shopify's email services for sending confirmation emails and newsletters. Shopify processes your name and email address exclusively for the purpose of this communication. At the bottom of every email sent via our website, you will find an unsubscribe link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from us. Your personal data is securely stored by Shopify and not used for other purposes.
Trans IP
We use the services of Trans IP for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Trans IP does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
For processing payments in our webshop, we use Shopify Payments and Mollie. These parties process your name, address, and payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify Payments and Mollie have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Your data will not be stored longer than permitted by law.
Reviews
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are obliged to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this data for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
Delivery and shipping
If you place an order with us, it is our task to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL for deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address, and place of residence details with PostNL. PostNL only uses this data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and accounting
For keeping our administration and accounting, we use the services of Shopify and Snelstart. We share your name, address, and place of residence details, and details regarding your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is securely transmitted and stored. These providers are obligated to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially.
Purpose of data processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations.
Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Azuna Pillows may be obliged by law to share your data in connection with a tax or criminal investigation by the government. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will resist this within the possibilities offered by law.
Retention periods
We store your data as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. We do not store your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so.

Based on applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as the data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on our behalf. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
